… here at the Southern Hemisphere, that is. We have barely begun October and we already are ‘enjoying’ a scorcher! But the most important thing to remember right now is that we just entered the last quarter of 2006. Hey, were have all those months gone?
The weekend was nice, even though I am still buried with the typesetting thingy. I just went through half of the corrected galley proofs. I still need to go through the other half, and even throw a cover mockup concept or two for good measure. Please pray that I finish all these jobs to my customer’s satisfaction.
Good question, Eduardo, about the months.
Interestingly, we have a really hot spell going on at the moment too. (Yesterday we broke the record 33C temperature for Oct 3 and hit 34.4!).
I don’t think it’s what we call “Indian Summer” this early in the fall, but we, too, have unseasonably warm weather. If this is Global Warming, I am blessed!
Funny… in Grand Rapids we used to have warm weather until near the end of October. Then, temperature suddenly dropped; at the end of October and beginnings of November the temperature was barely above freezing; and by Thanksgiving, The Winter(tm) was already there, with its grim presence and over 30-inches snowfall (the famous “Lake effect”).
