… here at the Southern Hemisphere, that is. We have barely begun October and we already are ‘enjoying’ a scorcher! But the most important thing to remember right now is that we just entered the last quarter of 2006. Hey, were have all those months gone? 😉
The weekend was nice, even though I am still buried with the typesetting thingy. I just went through half of the corrected galley proofs. I still need to go through the other half, and even throw a cover mockup concept or two for good measure. Please pray that I finish all these jobs to my customer’s satisfaction.
Good question, Eduardo, about the months. 🙂
Interestingly, we have a really hot spell going on at the moment too. (Yesterday we broke the record 33C temperature for Oct 3 and hit 34.4!).
I don’t think it’s what we call “Indian Summer” this early in the fall, but we, too, have unseasonably warm weather. If this is Global Warming, I am blessed!
Funny… in Grand Rapids we used to have warm weather until near the end of October. Then, temperature suddenly dropped; at the end of October and beginnings of November the temperature was barely above freezing; and by Thanksgiving, The Winter(tm) was already there, with its grim presence and over 30-inches snowfall (the famous “Lake effect”).
