There is a new stable version of WordPress, the blog engine that powers, among others, the blogs of Josiah, Ed, and mine. There are a number of security and bug fixes, so download away version 1.2.2!
Thankfully, I wasn’t bitten by any security-related bug (or, at least, not that I know of), but I experienced a nasty bug on URL expansion that I hope it’s fixed now.
I’ll probaly do that tonight. I tend to have to rebuild my look. Are you using the WP scripturizer plugin?
Josiah: I haven’t heard of the WP scripturizer plugin. Can you give me a pointer?
Eduardo — have you tried the Fantastico updating function for updating WP or do you update it manually?
Tim: I did it manually following the instructions; I was not sure how Fantastico would proceed, so I wanted to be in control of the upgrade. Is Fantastico able to perform the upgrades?
Yes. If you go to your Fantastico panel, it will offer to upgrade, presuming a newer version is out and your host (he’s a lazy fellow ;)) has updated Fantastico recently.
